The Lore

FLORIDA SPRINGS LIVE

We didn't find the springs. The springs found us.

This started as a TikTok about a spring. Then another one. Then a wildlife sighting that went sideways in the best possible way, a rant about people leaving trash at a first-magnitude spring, and somewhere in the middle of all of it — a community of people who felt exactly the same way about Florida's water.

Florida has over 900 springs. They pump billions of gallons of crystal clear, 72-degree water out of the ground every single day, year-round, regardless of what the weather is doing above the surface. They've been doing this for millions of years. Manatees, otters, turtles, fish that have never seen a cloud — all of it, right here, hiding in plain sight in a state most people think is just theme parks and highway construction.

Florida Springs Live exists because somebody needs to be loud about these places. Loud about protecting them. Loud about getting people out to see them before they make up their mind about Florida based on I-4 traffic. Loud about the fact that what's underground here is genuinely one of the most extraordinary natural systems on the planet and it is not guaranteed to be here forever.

We're not a nonprofit. We're not a government agency. We're a TikTok channel, a merch brand, and a guide library run by someone who got into the water one day and never really got back out.

Come explore. Stay for the conservation. Bring reef-safe sunscreen.
